Airdrive Design: The headline upgrade for this generation. By re-engineering the rotor, bail, and spool, Daiwa has significantly lightened the front end of the reel. This shifts the center of gravity backward toward the rod grip, drastically reducing rotational inertia. The result is a much lighter, effortless handle turn and better overall rod balance.
ATD Type-L Drag System: An evolution of the standard Automatic Tournament Drag. Type-L improves drag response at the initial hookset, smoothly paying out line under sudden pressure spikes without the "stickiness" or startup lag that frequently snaps lighter lines.
Toughdigigear: Digitally designed, high-strength main gearing that ensures precise gear teeth meshing, maximizing power transfer and longevity.
LC-ABS (Long Cast ABS Spool): Features a modified double-lipped edge that reduces friction against the line as it leaves the spool, extending casting distance while preventing wind knots.
6/1 Ball Bearings: The signature feature of the "EX" trim remains. Keeping a 6-bearing system ensures a significantly smoothe
