Suteki High Power Maboroshi Fighter Assist Hooks for Medium Tackle
Suteki is a brand well known in Japan for producing some of the sharpest, strongest and well made hooks and terminals in the world! The Suteki High Power Maboroshi hooks suit a wide range of medium/light tackle jigging and casting applications. The shape of the Maboroshi is different to the SPT503 hook with a longer shank and smaller gape making it ideal for jigging applications. The slightly longer shank of the Maboroshi is also an advantage when fishing topwater plugs as the point of the hook is much harder to get stuck in the lures or tangled. Although the Maboroshi hook is the lighter hook of the lineup it still has superior power for a medium tackle hook but the added advantage of ultimate hook penetration. Maboroshi hooks and assists are ideal for targeting kingfish, mackerel, tuna species, coral reef fish and snappers.
